Ivanhoe looked around in the tower room and immediately recognized the young woman who was imprisoned there with him.

"Thank you, dear Rebecca, thank you for saving my life!" On the way from Ashby, Rebecca had taken care of his wounds herself. It was only because of her great skills that Ivanhoe was now slowly able to recover his strength.

"I see that we have been taken to the castle of Front-de-Boeuf," said Ivanhoe. "How can I protect Rowena and my father now?"

Rebecca told him (Ревекка сказала ему) that the castle was under attack from the outside (что замок подвергся /внешнему/ нападению: «был под нападением снаружи»). It's the Black Knight (это Черный рыцарь)! "The Black Knight. But no — but no (но нет — нет)! "Front-de-Boeuf?"

"Front-de-Boeuf," answered Rebecca.
